Viacom Studios and Dharma Productions will jointly produce the film Slate for the silver screen

 

Mumbai. Viacom 18 Studios (Viacom 18 Studios) has joined hands with Dharma Productions (Dharma Productions) to bring many of the most awaited Hindi films including Karan Johar (Karan Johar) directorial ‘Rocky and Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ (Ronky and Rani love story) and ‘Jug Jug Go’ to the first screen. Under the agreement, the two companies will cooperate with each other on Shakun Batra’s next film and Shashank Khaitan’s feature project.

Shakun Batra’s next stars Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dheera Karwa, while Khaitan’s project stars Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar in pivotal roles.

‘Rocky and Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. Anil Kapoor, Neetu Singh Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani will be seen in the lead roles in raj mehta directorial ‘Jug Jug Go’.

Viacom 18 Studios gets satellite rights to these films
The films that are part of this agreement are in different steps of production and are likely to release in the next 18-24 months. According to a press release, Viacom 18 Studios has also got satellite rights to these films.

Aji Andhar, COO, Viacom 18 Studios, said the agreement on the production of the film ‘Slate’ has strengthened their long-term relationship with Johar and Dharma Productions. The slate shows a variety of information about the film. Johar said every film of Dharma Productions is committed to entertaining cinema lovers and this partnership will further enhance its efficiency.
