Delhi Crime Season 2, the second season of Shefali Shah and Rajesh Telang’s web series ‘Delhi Crime’, released on the OTT platform Netflix in 2019, is eagerly awaited. Based on the story of Delhi’s Nirbhaya scandal, the first season was loved by the people.

Delhi Crime season 2 was planned to be released by the end of this year, but if you believe the new update, the web series may not be released yet, as the makers have started working on the story anew. The web series ‘Delhi crime’, based on the creepy story of Delhi’s Nirbhaya gangrape case, has been highly praised across the world. The second season was announced only after the unexpected success that followed the release of the first season of the web series. According to the new story, the shooting with the new cast and the old team has also been completed. It was supposed to be released only in December last year, but failed.
Rajesh Mapuskar directs Season 2
A major change has also been made in the second season of’ Delhi Crime’. This time, the second season has been directed by Rajesh Mapuskar instead of Richie Mehta, who directed the first season. Rajesh has received the National Award for the Marathi film ‘Ventilator’. He has also worked as an assistant director in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Munna Bhai’ franchise films and ‘3 Idiots’. Richie Mehta has been highly praised for his brilliant work in the first season, despite being removed from the post of director of the second season, this is also a shocking decision. Real IAS officer in ahem role in Season 2
Shefali Shah has won the hearts of everyone thanks to her brilliant acting in this web series. His performance has been praised on all sides. 4 years of research for the first season
‘Delhi crime’ shows the story of the Delhi gang-rape scandal in 2012. The web series, directed by Richie Mehta, was released on March 22, 2019. Every episode of the 7-episode series brought a suspense in itself. Actress Shefali Shah played the role of Deputy Commissioner Vartika Chaturvedi. Adil Hussain, Rasika Duggal and Akash Dahiya were also the main characters in the series. To prepare this series, The makers had researched it for four whole years. After the refusal of former Delhi Police Commissioner Neeraj Kumar, the work was done with permission from Nirbhaya’s family.
